Madison Experimental Math Lab

“Topological Techniques in Curve Shortening Flow” Madison Experimental Math Lab. MxM Poster Presentations, 3 May 2022, Madison, Wisconsin, USA.

Worked in a group with Professor Sigurd Angenent, Kaiyi Huang, Evan Davis, Aris Lemmenes, Edgar Gevorgyan, and Tyler Tommasi on problems relating to curve shortening flow. In particular, we showed the existence of unstable initial conditions for curve shortening flow using topological arguments.

WISCERS

Worked with Professor Ilias Diakonikolas and Evangelia Gergatsouli on improving the known sample bounds of statistical uniformity and closeness testers. Also implemented the testers in python.
